Girl Talk: Building Healthy Self-Esteem, Body Image & Relationships
Wednesday, April 19th from 6-7:30pm
Dallastown Area Intermediate School Auditorium
Presented by Jessica Castle and Vanessa Maldonado
ACCESS-York/Victim Assistance Center
So many young girls have anxiety over their appearance that it often times prevents them from being their best and believing in their potential.  Poor self-esteem and body image can affect their health, relationships, and self-worth.
This interactive discussion will explore the dynamics of body image and self-esteem in adolescent girls and the connections between positive self-image, and establishing healthy boundaries within her relationships.  It’s so important that adults validate feelings about these issues and provide our young girls with positive messages and strategies to cope with the stresses of this stage in her life.
We invite girls age 10-14 to attend with a parent/guardian.
