"You are not here merely to make a living. You are here in order to enable the world to live more amply, with greater vision, with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world, and you impoverish yourself if you forget the errand."
--Woodrow Wilson

My name is Christopher Martin and I am the Community Principal of the Blue Community. I am thrilled to be at Dallastown and look forward to serving your student.

The 2015-2016 school year will be the start of my nineteenth year in education. I have thoroughly enjoyed my three years here at DAIS.  Previously, I have served as an assistant principal, enrichment teacher and classroom teacher for The School District of the City of York for fifteen years. I have master’s degrees from Penn State in Curriculum as well as York College in Educational Leadership. I did my undergraduate work in Harrisonburg, VA at Eastern Mennonite University. I grew up as a dairy farmer in Spring Grove.

I have been married to my wonderful wife, Kelly, for fourteen years and we live about ten minutes away from DAIS. Kelly is a mother of three who works part time for the J.C.C. Alissa, our oldest, is in sixth grade. She loves team sports and art. Jesse, our oldest son, is in fifth grade and loves soccer, technology, and playing outside. Elias, our youngest, is starting kindergarten and is into super heroes. In my free time, I enjoy photography, adventure racing, soccer and being involved with our community.
