Welcome to Ore Valley Art!
Hello! My name is Miss Grove and I am the art teacher at Ore Valley Elementary! I am very excited to work with both students and parents to provide the best educational experience possible. In each class we will be able to explore many different materials and techniques to create original artworks based on this year's theme.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or suggestions.

Create, imagine, explore, invent are four important words that are posted in the art room and that I think communicate the essence of what a K-3 art experience should include. The students will participate in a variety of art making opportunities, learn new problem-solving skills, and develop new ways of learning. My goal is to work with students to create a safe, positive and creative classroom environment that promotes success for each and every student!
Trash to Treasure Donations!
The art room is always looking to collect the following items to use for art projects! Please consider donating these items before throwing them away. They can be dropped off in the art room throughout the year.
egg cartons, paper towel tubes, toilet paper tubes, lids and food-themed magazines
Special Trash to Treasure Announcement: In addition to all of the above items, I am asking for old maps and postcards as well. They will make great artwork to go along with this year's theme: Road Trip- USA.
