Place Value to Hundreds and Basic Facts math words-ordinal numbers, pattern, even, odd, addend, sum, fact family, difference, rule, number sentence, expanded form, standard form, word form Number patterns, use addition properties, complete tables with patterns and give rules, word problems Addition and Subtraction to Hundreds/Money math words-regroup, sum, ones, tens, hundreds, thousands, decimal, point, dollar sign, cent sign, round, estimate, least, greatest Adding 2 and 3 digit numbers, Subtracting two and three digit numbers with and without zeros, Finding the value of bills and coins, Rounding Link to Fastt Math at home EARNED TIME Students will begin the week with 4 letters (EARN). If a rule is not followed the student will lose a letter and recieve a behavior notice.
School Wide Rules Feet, hands, and objects to myself I respect others by what I say and do Listen to and obey directions at all times Learning is my resposibility (This includes homework.) On Friday if the student has atleast 1 letter left they will EARN 20 minutes of an activity of their choice. The activities include; art, class games, board games, or movie. If not they will spend 20 minutes in the workroom reflecting on their behavior during the past week.
FILL A BUCKET- We are bucket fillers at Ore Valley! New positive behavior support plan 
•Overview-As students demonstrate positive behaviors showing love, kindness, caring, sharing, or making others feel special they will add ping pong balls to our bucket, once our class bucket is filled we will celebrate and then add it to the school wide bucket. Time will be given each day for a class meeting to share how other people have filled their buckets •Car Rider Procedures-by 3:25pm park in the parking lot, enter through café door #19, sign in/take ticket, students will be called to report to the cafe at 3:30pm. NO WRITTEN EXCUSE CARD/NOTE IS REQUIRED •Report Cards-New look this year! No report cards will be issued the 1st marking period. A conference report will be shared at the November conferences. Grading changes-O, S, S- N for major subject areas and special classes will no longer receive a grade. •Only 1 bus assignment per student. There will no longer be bus passes.
