One of the themes of our Community Forum held January 2007 was "Multicultural Understanding and Awareness." As a result of the Forum and the increased diversity of the student population and school community of Dallastown Area School District, a "Diversity Committee" was formed in 2008 to study and to determine needs and initiatives for this goal. The Committee, now referred to as the Diversity Council, continues to examine both quantitative and qualitative data from various district and community sources as it moves forward with the implementation of a DIVERSITY STRATEGIC PLAN.
