The following documents must be on file with
the District prior to the first day of volunteer service:
• Report of Criminal History from the
Pennsylvania State Police;
• Completed Pennsylvania Child Abuse
History Clearance or signed Affidavit &
Agreement AND PA Child Abuse History
• Either a Dallastown Area School
District FBI Clearance Exemption Form or a
COGENT registration ID (fingerprinting registration number); and
• Signed Mandated Reporter

School District. These new volunteer clearance requirements further support the
Dallastown Area School District commitment to providing a safe, secure learning
environment for students.
FBI Clearance Exemption Form - If you have been a resident of Pennsylvania during the entirety of the previous ten-year period AND you are not disqualified from service by reason of criminal history then you DO NOT need to process the FBI clearance.
FBI Clearance Registration Website - FBI fingerprinting registration website. Register using Pennsylvania Department of Education option. Please note that the FBI clearance completed through the Department of Human Services option can be accepted if you have had the clearance completed as required by your employer.
Fingerprinting hours of operation in District Administration are as follows:
Monday - Friday - 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., excluding District observed holidays and Fridays over the summer
