Districts will no longer receive a Building Report Card. Rather, data on student and building performance can be found on the PA School Performance Profile website. Simply select the building of interest, then read the information on each yellow tab. The Building Level Academic Score can be found in the Academic Performance tab.
When looking at building data you will see scores in a category called Growth. Pennsylvania uses a statistical analysis called PVAAS to measure the learning of a group of students compared to the rest of the students within the state. Read PVAAS Methodologies: Measuring Growth and Projecting Performance created by Intermediate Unit #13 for more information.
Scores for each DASD building reflect the hard work of students, parents, and staff. As a reference, according to Carolyn Dumaresq, Pennsylvania’s acting education secretary, a score of 70 or above as a measure of those "moving toward success." Below is a table that displays each building score.
