Class Expectations:

Ø Grades are earned by completing worksheets, maps, projects, quizzes, and tests.

Ø There will be a quiz after every section of notes.

Ø A 3-ring binder is recommended to store notes and handouts.

Ø All work is due at the beginning of the period, the day after it is assigned, unless otherwise noted.

Ø Late work may be turned in for ½ credit within 24 hours.

Ø Any work missed due to absences will be made up in a timely manner.

Ø An open mind is required in this class in order to better appreciate the vast diversity of cultures and beliefs that will be explored.

Ø Students in this class are expected to think and to act in a manner that is consistent with being treated as young adults.
