The Allocations Committee of the Dallastown Area Educational Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of the fall Educational Opportunity Grants. A total of $1,670 was awarded to:
- $720 to for initial funding of a new program, Girls on Track, at Dallastown Area Middle School, which will enhance the physical education/health curriculum for selected middle school girls.
- $500 for scholarships for the Opportunity to Learn Club, which will help to serve as an incentive for middle school students to continue to fundraise for an outdoor classroom experience in the Grand Canyon. Funds will cover upfront costs for the student fundraising.
- $450 to Team Revolution, middle school, to provide seed money to students for a project to promote volunteerism and community service.
