The Dallastown Area Communities That Care Organization is awarding grants to individuals or organizations in the Dallastown Area School District who seek funding for events or activities that support the guiding principles of CTC.
The Grant Process
The grants awarded will be up to $500 in value each which meet the approval of the board. The number of grants awarded each year is determined in that budget year by the CTC board. The application timeline is open throughout the year for as long as the grant funding is available and applications are reviewed monthly by the CTC board. Applicants are strongly encouraged to consider their proposal in the context of the Dallastown Area Communities That Care Grant Program Guidelines and Proposal Review Criteria.
The Dallastown Area Communities That Care Board of Directors reviews eligible proposals and will conduct 10 minute interviews of all applicants by monthly appointment. Upon review of the grant application and interview completion the Dallastown Area Communities That Care Board of Directors votes on the grant proposal. Applicants will be notified of a grant determination following the decision.
Grant recipients must sign an agreement which details grant terms and conditions. Grantees are asked to provide the board with a brief report on project progress, results and expenditure of funds, as well as copies of any project publicity naming Dallastown Area Communities That Care as a source of support.
