The purpose of the DAIS SEALS (Supporting Education and Leadership Skills) Program in the Dallastown Area School District is to align high school students with intermediate children who may be in need of extra support for many reasons related to home and/or school settings. The program will meet once a week, after school, at Dallastown Area Intermediate School. High school mentors will serve as positive role models helping intermediate school students to be successful through school work and recreational activities. The goal of the program is to help school performance, self-esteem and interpersonal skills. Dallastown Area Intermediate School Counselors run the program. Dallastown Communities That Care helps to fund this worthwhile program. If you are a high school student who would like to apply to be a mentor in the SEALS program, please see your school counselor.
