Welcome to the 8th grade! Throughout this school year, we will be taking a journey through Early American History. We will be covering a variety of topics, including: Native Americans, Colonial America, The American Revolution, the Constitution, Early Presidents, Manifest Destiny, and the Civil War. A Message from Mr. Carter I am looking very forward to this upcoming school year. I cannot wait to meet all of you on the first day of school. As I wrote in the class policies section of this page, my biggest requirement of my students is to show up to class every day with an open mind, ready to learn. Contrary to popular belief, learning about history can be fun. I will strive to have you learn something new and interesting every day, and make sure we have fun doing it. I hope you enjoy the rest of your summer. See you on the 22nd. |
