The 7th grade art curriculum provides many opportunities for students to think creatively and to synthesize new ideas by combining concepts and problem solving. The elements of design will become building blocks as we explore drawing, painting, sculpture and graphic design. The design principle of "Unity" is emphasized when working with all mediums and becomes a metaphor for how we interact as a class. We will cultivate an appreciation for the arts of ancient civilizations and diverse cultures. Welcome to 7th grade art class!
