Students will experience art through production, history, criticism, and aesthetics. Many projects will relate to the contributions of diverse cultures. Students will spend time each year exploring a variety of design software to create many forms of printed documents as well as presentation formats. Each grade level focuses on specific elements and principles of design, so that many will be explored and implemented during the middle school years. Throughout each student’s middle school career, opportunities are provided to display art work in the District Administrative offices, showcases and school wide creative arts festivals. |
